The Derngate
On Tuesday we were in class
doing lessons when Mr Camp had a word with Mrs Young and in a flash of an eye
we were heading off to the mini buses.
We were split into two groups.
We got on the buses, it was a 20 minute journey, but all went quickly.
We got off the bus and
entered the Royal Derngate Theatre. It
was massive. We were sat in the “GODS”,
that meant we could see all the instruments in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
such as double base, violin and a tambourine, which you might not think it was
very hard, but this man called Tim had played the tambourine for 7 years, it
was quite amazing.
The show began, it started
off with the Simpsons theme tune, and it was probably one of the best. They also played songs such as Star Wars,
Beethoven’s 5th ,
which we joined in with by dancing and shouting, it was really fun.
I really enjoyed the
experience.
