The Owls are the top class in the school and are made up of years 5 and 6.  The class size at present is 26 pupils.  The Owls are taught 2 days a week by the Head Teacher and three days by a teacher (to be appointed shortley) with support from two TAs Mrs Russell and Mrs Wainwright.

Teaching in the Owls is similar to that in the Blackbirds and based upon linked learning topics that cover a terms work.  All subjects are integrated into these topics, as far as possible and the homework is also tied into the termly topic.  Pupils are able to select homework tasks over the term from a grid that is given out at the beginning of the topic.
