Dear parents,

May I take this opportunity to remind you about the DVD’s of the Arts Festival that are now available for parents to purchase as a souvenir of each performance. They are available to buy direct from the filmmaker John Hogg. Go to www.hhproductions.co.uk where they can be ordered online or post. Plans are already underway for next years festival. Further information once the dates have been confirmed.

This term, Books for Schools catalogue is online. The website is www.freebooksforschools.co.uk. Just click the download section to access the downloadable PDF document. From September 13th to December 6th, there will be 12 tokens to collect each week in The Times and The Sunday Times.

Polly Chadwick (Robins Class) and her family are doing a 5 mile sponsored bike ride in aid of Cynthia Spencer Trust. We have been collecting 2p’s. Please support Polly by looking for any spare 2p coins you have at home. We are measuring the length the coins will make and already have 8 metres. Send them in with your child and they can add to the line asap. Polly will also be in the newspaper next week when you can find more information.

A word from the Head...

Holidays should be arranged when the school is not in session to enable your child to cover the required work within the classroom situation and take part in National tests, tasks and moderation exercises.
