Dear Friends,

 

As some of you already know, next September, alongside my sister and friend Tracey, I will be climbing Machu Picchu in aid of Kidney Research and Crazy Hats Breast Cancer Appeal. Fundraising is well under way however we still need to raise a substantial amount of money. Any support is greatly appreciated throughout the year, don't worry, you’ll get to know what we are up to!

 

Tracey and I are hosting a black tie dinner and dance on Saturday 10th October in Spratton Village Hall. Tickets cost £20.00 per person and will include a canapé and Buck’s Fizz reception, dinner, and lots of dancing! We are also using the evening to hold a promise auction so if you have anything you would like to offer into the ‘pot’, please feel free.

 

If you would like to book, or for more information, please do not hesitate to find me in the playground. I don't mind, honest!

Vouchers for Schools

 

Last year parents and staff kindly collected a range of vouchers for the school. The amount was really staggering considering we are such a small school. Below is a list of some of the items we have been able to get with the vouchers that you saved for the school .We are again joining in the voucher schemes as they provide extra resources for the school. We will be collecting Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s vouchers, along with Times book vouchers. Please support the school by collecting them and sending them in when the stores start issuing them.

100 books for the library, plus reading sets for all the classes and new non fiction topic books.

 

Tesco and Sainsburys

 

Large sports bags/sports equipment: Tennis balls, rounders bats, rounders bases, playground sports equipment.

Art equipment: Glue spreaders, art pencils, stamps, specialist paints, paint brushes and watercolour sets.
