Great Creaton Primary School was established in 1884 and since then has developed and grown. The school is set in the small village of Creaton and welcomes children from the surrounding villages mainly Creaton, Brixworth, Spratton, Thornby and Cottesbrooke and we now have pupils on roll from Northampton.
At present we are full and oversubscribed in 6 of our year groups and now have a waiting list for those years. The school has developed over the years and is now quite a forward looking school with many new initiatives.

SPECIAL NOTICE: There are currently 8 spaces available for new pupils across the years. All parents interested are welcome to visit the school. Please call the office 01604-505535 to arrange a personal visit.
The school is housed within a Victorian building which has been extended over the years. In 2000, a new addition was built to produce an entrance, library and computer area. In 2006, the Foundation Stage classroom was doubled in size to give our new intake pupils more space.
The buildings are set in mature grounds and many trees provide a garden landscape for the staff and pupils. There are exciting areas of the grounds for children to play in and the environment is constantly being developed to support aspects of the curriculum. The grounds of the school are seen as its major asset and are very well used by the staff and pupils.Inside the school are 4 main classrooms, a hall, and a superb library, a craft room with eco energy lights and a central craft area and 15 laptop computers to support curriculum development.
As the school is so old there are points of interest in the building and also the neighbouring church. The school developed from one room and accompanying Head Teachers house, to its present state over the last 150 years. |
